2.Qualifications for Admission

① A person over the age of 18 who has completed secondary education and school education for 12 years or more (expected completion) outside Japan.
② Those who have passed an equivalency examination of secondary education and school education for 12 years outside Japan.
③ Those who are confirmed as having adequate academic standards to take classes at TLC.

  • ● In case that student's financial supporter is going to deliver the tuition fee through a bank, the supporter is able to pay in lump sum twice a year.
  •  ①Before the admission(in March) 415,000 yen for a half year
  •  ②2nd time in 1st year(in August) 300,000 yen for a half year
  • ●If student and supporter pay the tuition fee in one lump sum before the admission, they will be exempted from the admission fee.
  •  ①Before the admission(in March) 665,000 yen for a year
  • ※The Breakdown of Miscellaneous/Operation Cost, Equipment Cost,Textbooks Cost, Extra-curricular Expense, Medical checkup cost, and Visa application cost (the firtst time).

    Reward systems

  • 1.Reward for Perfect Attendance

    If attendance rate is 100%, financial incentives and an award certificate will be given.

    ○Each term(Twice a year):5,000yen and an award certificate
    ○From admission to graduation:
    2 years course 20,000 yen and an award certificate
    1 year and 6 months course 15,000 yen and an award certificate

  • 2.Japanese-Language Proficiency Test(JLPT)

    If students pass the JLPT during their enrollment at the school, financial incentives and an award certificate will be given according to the level.

    ○N1:50,000 yen・an award certificate
    ○N2: 30,000 yen・an award certificate
    ○N3: 20,000 yen・an award certificate
    ○N4: 10,000 yen・an award certificate

  • 3.Elite Universities or Graduate Schools

    If students are accepted into universities or graduate schools deemed eligible of financial incentives by the school during their enrollment at the school, the school shall provide a monetary incentive in the amount of 100,000 yen and an award certificate.

  • 4.Application Documents.

  • ★③Transcripts from most recently attended educational institution including high school

  • ④A certificate of enrollment

  • ⑤Resume (designated form by our school)

    * if there are parts of your education that differ from the standard educational system in your HOME country, such as skipping years or entering elementary school at a higher or lower age, etc., documents explaining these discrepancies will be required from educational institutions.
  • ⑥Purpose and reason to study Japanese (be specific)

  • ⑦5 color Photos of yourself (4㎝×3㎝, without a hat, and must be taken within three months)

  • ⑧Color Photocopy of your passport(if you have a passport)

  • ⑨Proof of Japanese Language Study

    If you do not have one, attach a document reporting the total study hours (if you are studying right now in an institution, write the total hours by now and total hours by the end), attendance and transcript.
  • ⑩Certificate of employment

    (Position title must be stated. In the case that applicants has been promised to be reinstated to their former position, the plan of reinstatement should be included in the proof of employment.)
  • ⑪Letter of Pledge

    (designated form by our school)
  • ⑫Application form for dormitory

    (designated form by our school), Please read "About dormitory" carefully and submit this form with ①Application Form.
  • Documents about the Applicant.
    (OECD countries and Taiwan passport holders do not need documents marked with ★)

    In either case we recommend you to ask a professional translator or a public agency for translation.

  • In the case of getting financial support by transferring money
  • ①Letter of financial support (designated form by our school)

    *Please write your full name and seal (countries which do not use name seals, please provide a signature) on their respective lines at the bottom of the letter of financial support.

    *It should be indicated how the sponsor intends to pay for the student’s living expenses, the amount of money the student plans to bring to Japan upon entering, the amount and the period (ex. once a month) over which the sponsor will pay.

  • ②Certificate of bank balance

    *A local currency is also acceptable.

  • ★③Certificate of Savings account

    *A color photocopy is preferred.

  • ④Proof of employment

    ・If the remitter is an employee, a proof of employment should be submitted.

    ・If the remitter is a business owner or a private business owner, a copy of the company registration or a business license should be submitted.

  • ⑤Proof of income or certificate of tax payment (issued by the company)
